Wife of Bath Tube. Duration : 2.47 Mins.

Done as my final project for my Brit Lit course, this is a bardic-esque circular song. I decided to write this in jest of the Wife of Bath from Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. This song, with its simple chord progression is designed as a circular song that can be sung ad infinitum, meaning that there is not necessarily a starting and ending point. Verses may be added or dropped at the player's desire and it was a common style used by bards because it supports storytelling very well. here are the lyrics: Alisoun rides on the finest of steeds swathed in fine cloth spurs upon her feet and many a man fallen pray to this lass and her numerous skills from the flat of her ass coquettish and clever she's earned her place 5 foolish husbands she felled with her grace and I suspect more she never did wed just schooled them and soothed them and took them to bed but this is her duty to you she would say god's gifts to me will send virgins his way stockings of scarlet though I think she's be fine were she wearing nothing but a wink and a smile though now come to think she sure does enjoy displaying her wealth and bedding her boys
