Leeds Rhinos will face Bradford Bulls at Cardiff's Millennium Magic Weekend, which kicks off engage Super League XVI with all teams facing each other under one roof over the course of the weekend of the 12th and 13th February. To get them ready to lock horns with the Bulls, new Head Coach Brian McDermott has arranged for them to get some tips from an expert on the subject! McDermott has come up with a novel way of cultivating team spirit as part of the club's pre-season training camp in North Yorkshire, sponsored by Arc Inspirations. The team will spend four days staying at a youth hostel, preparing meals for one another as well as taking part in various outdoor activities including mountain biking and walking. However, the most interesting part of the week will see the squad join local farmer Paul Brown to help run his farm. The squad will feed 400 sheep up on the moors before heading back down to the farm to put fresh bedding down and feed the herd of cattle including getting hands on with a couple of real life bulls. The squad will also be rebuilding a dry stone wall. Looking ahead to the trip McDermott said, "Pre-season has gone well and following the game at Crusaders last week we are happy with the progress the squad is making on the field. RIGHT! To start with the Zoozone is only two rats in there, those two rats are happy and the one Ceil freaks out when I put her in the liberta, I WON'T put up wit anymore comments to move them, they are happy why should I stress them out to please you people? That done with I have given up on the liberta and finacard, the mess was unbelievable, the dust was appalling and the sneezing was worrying me, since I went to fleece no sneezing. The only problem is that rats like to chew, with a fleece a pound if your lucky and newspapers a pound a week for all cages its working out to be expensive so going to have to find a way to get them to chew other things, am trying balled up news paper and apple wood right now in the hope they switch. My dad soon will be having three of the ratties I cant wait as the three he is taking get along well together but not with the others, so its going to make life alot easier, that and I will go from 17 to 14 which is a lovely number XD. Advertised the other ratties had nothing but time wasters, no one wants the boys they all want girls and as the three girls I have left are goregous black rats I dont want to lose them, I was hoping to shift some of the boys but to no avail. Heading to the beach again soon I hope to get more drift wood, going to make a climbing frame for the zoozone girls. Also back on pets at home food for the rats was buying super expensive food online for them but they leave half of it and pick out what they like so back to ...

Fun at Larry's Cabin - All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy - Pat doing the Battery Work here. That's Wayne in the back reading; he is almost completely deaf~no need for Ear Protection with him. BTW: I kind of took over the Firing after that. We fired this thing all day with 150 Grains of Black powder and about a 75MM load. I also fired Buck shot through the things. I ended up, amazingly accurate and quite proficient with loading and tamping (Both the powder and the load) this Jenkins Cannon. Then we move into the field - The Boys investigate some fresh bedding locations ~ Someone thought he finally found the Lion's Den ~ Lucky we had an Expert with us? Did you ever get stung by a dead Javelina~~~I mean Cactus? :) Credit: Alex, Larry, Wayne, SEG and Pat. BTW: What we do, We do on Private Property all with a considerable knowledge and always with safety in mind~~~Still, Please Do Not Try This At Home!

The worse of these being Riverbank Treatment Centre for Boys and Hillston Anglican Farm for Boys. The so called 'welfare staff' managing these institutions were slyly known as "Group Workers". The cells housing the children were known as "cabins". HILLSTON ANGLICAN FARM FOR BOYS (Age range 10 - 17 years) Hillston was originally built by the Anglican church circa 1950s as a boot camp / farm for delinquent and homeless boys. In the 1960s the West Australian Government (Child Welfare) assumed control to essentially maintain the boot camp / borstal function. Welfare modified Hillston to a minimum security jail, where boys as young as 10 years were released from a cell in the morning to endure a regimental program until 8.30 in the evening when they would be returned to their cell. Cells (housed in 3 corridors - Raven, Falcon & Eagle) were furnished only with mattress and bedding. None of the cells were equipped with toilets - boys who requested toilet access during the 10 hour nightly lock down did so at risk of being punished. To signal a toilet request during nights, boys had to slide the end of their towel under the cell door and wait until the towel's edge was spotted by a Group Worker. Until the mid-1980s, the Department for Child Protection operated various gulag-grade boys institutions across Perth. The worse of these being Riverbank Treatment Centre for Boys and Hillston Anglican Farm for Boys. The so called 'welfare staff' managing these institutions were slyly known as "Group Workers". The cells housing the children were known as "cabins". HILLSTON ANGLICAN FARM FOR BOYS (Age range 10 - 17 years) Hillston was originally built by the Anglican church circa 1950s as a boot camp / farm for delinquent and homeless boys. In the 1960s the West Australian Government (Child Welfare) assumed control to essentially maintain the boot camp / borstal function. Welfare modified Hillston to a minimum security jail, where boys as young as 10 years were released from a cell in the morning to endure a regimental program until 8.30 in the evening when they would be returned to their cell. I let the boys know and they all promised to buy some things when they were out. We had taken a break from walking and were sitting on a bench. We had been wandering round shops trying to find things for Sofia's room. We already had the wall paint which was a purple colour and we saw a nice bed for her which was white with a purple teddy bear carving on the foot of the bed. ~~ "What about that one?" Sadie asked pointing to a plain white wardrobe. "It would go with her bed" She continued. I agreed and we put it to order along with a chest of drawers. "Louis look!" Sadie said excitedly. Sadie then found a metal white butterfly and carefully placed it in smiling at me. I nodded and smiled back. I picked up plain purple bedding and put it in the cart followed by a white teddy bear. Video #22 of a day by day record of my little Teddy Bear hamster couple's 11 adorable children; This is their 1st and only litter. Watching the babies grow up and helping their mom take care of them was huge fun, I'm glad I could be a part of it! :D The babies were born on March 9th, 2009. Boys and girls were separated today. PS: The babies don't live in an ice cream bucket... they are there to make this video. Read on for my rant of background information! About 3 months after getting the dad, Frankie from Atlas Pets I got my little Fiona from another pet store across town. (Its a big town.) After hours of research I fell in love with baby hamsters and was determined to let my hamsters have a litter of their own. I decided to get 2 teddy bears as DIFFERENT as possible so the babies wouldn't turn out demented or deformed from inbreeding... :/ I meant to get a big female that could have a lot of babies (I know, choosing a hamster for all the wrong reasons XD) but I fell in love with Fiona. She is the runt of her litter but has the biggest heart in the world. Her siblings were the size of ordinary teddy bears.
